First Day Fun

We are off to a great start!

Activities:  We went to the Outdoor Classroom and discovered all the area had in store for us:  a sandbox, a water table, a chalkboard, stepping stones, and lots of trucks to push around.

Circle Time:  We read the story, "Quinito, Day and Night".  It was a story about a boy named Quinito and the routines he had each day.  We also sang some songs and Nursery Rhymes.  Our favorite seemed to be "The ABC Song".

Snack:  We had apple flavored Teddy Grahams and water or juice.  We learned to make a little garbage can out of our cup and trash and throw it away after we were done.

Playtime:  All areas of our Play Room were put to good use.  The children seemed to enjoy having a longer time to investigate the different areas.

It was a great first day!  See you all next week.

Welcome to Preschool

Thank you to everyone for coming today.  Everything went great.  We are looking forward to a "WONDERFUL" year.  See you all next time.

We Are Working

Hello everyone!  Welcome to our 2 Day Preschool Blog for the 2013-14 school year.  School hasn't started for the children yet, but we are very busy in the rooms getting ready for the new year.  We cannot wait to see everyone. 

Don't forget Parent Orientation on Wednesday, August 21 at 7 pm.  We will see you then.
